Rob began recording early on with 2 track stereo tape recorders, then 4 track tape recorders. He produced his first album on 4 track tape self titled "The Snuggle Pussies" which was a rootsy punk rock experiment in stream of consciousness music and writing. Eventually Rob started his own recording studio, Raging Dead Bird Studios (which later became Mass Music Lab) and produced a number of albums and sessions for regional artist including The Blue Ribbon Boys featuring Julia Gotlieb, The Hunger Mountian Boys, Sky Smead, Scott Clarke's Radio Madness and Cavalcade of Stars, Kai Blackwood and the Tokyo Death Squad, Powdered Calculus, Swear To God, The Snozberries and many others. In addition to recording his own solo acoustic material, rock projects and electronic meanderings, he produced and released the debut cd "Not a friend in Sight" of his own hardcore metal band Killing Floor. The recording featured guest vocalist Rick Ta Life of the band 25 Ta Life. He worked producing and engineering sessions at the Off The Beat-n-Track recording studio in Sheffield Massachusetts.
